Using a VTAP PRO reader in Cloud mode

This section describes how to use the VTAP100 PRO reader in Cloud mode.

In Cloud mode, this VTAP PRO reader can connect to the VTAP Cloud Admin Platform over Internet, through Ethernet or through Wi‑Fi. It can also act as a Bluetooth keyboard or take input from a Bluetooth barcode/QR code scanner. This VTAP PRO reader can also act as a dynamic BLE beacon when in Cloud mode.

You can choose applications on the VTAP Cloud platform to return appropriate payloads in response to a successful pass tap, potentially to a Bluetooth host device connected to the VTAP reader. Input, relay and external serial LED output features are also optionally available in Cloud mode (VTAP100 PRO I/O expansion board required).
