Update firmware on VTAP PRO reader in Local mode

Core firmware or connectivity firmware updates can be done by simply copying a vtapware.dat or vtapcfw.dat file to the VTAP100 PRO USB mass storage file system, in the same way as for other VTAP reader models, refer to Update firmware.

If the VTAP PRO mass storage drive is inaccessible, the firmware files can also be sent over Zmodem. (Refer to Transfer files over a command interface for more about Zmodem).

A reboot is required after the firmware file is copied to the VTAP reader. This triggers the firmware to install, and the file will no longer be visible in the VTAP file system.
